It's a great place where you want to disconnect a bit, relax and enjoy your rest. The location was great, very close to the beach, you can walk in 7 min. The property is a villa and you have a home stay there. The man who manages everything is a really nice person, We had great time with him, had lots of talks, it was very lovely. They staff was great and they were also giving some tea, fruit sometimes for free as a treat, which was very lovely. The property was clean and the kitchen has everything we needed to cook. The pool was nice and clean, we had some relaxing time there as well. I will go back again for sure once I am in Matara.

.Amazing Stay at Skyy Villa! Our stay at Skyy Villa was absolutely fantastic! The villa is perfectly located near the beach, making it easy to enjoy snorkeling, surfing, and an exciting boat safari. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, with stunning views all around. The food was delicious, offering a variety of flavors that exceeded our expectations. When we first booked it I was a little cautious because it's a new hotel and I didn't know exactly what to expect. But this place and the hosts hospitality exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have everything you may ever need. There's a common area where, if you'd like, you can cook a meal or practice yoga. The real stars of this place, however, is the host family. Thilan, his wife and kids make your stay a special time. Any request, small or large, is always greeted with a smile and a genuine willingness to help and go above and beyond. One night we had a dinner that was cooked by Thilan's wife which also concluded our time in Sri Lanka and all 4 of us agreed in saying it was the best Sri Lankan curry we've had within the two weeks. It was truly exceptional and made using only the freshest of the ingredients. Even after our stay there, Thilan was extremely helpful with organising transfer to the airport. This place is genuinely a hidden gem and I believe a great future awaits them as they absolutely nailed their offering and service. 10/10, would recommend.

Brand new accommodation, great location, super clean, air conditioning, lovely breakfast and just the loveliest hosts! Very relaxed vibe, quiet but also really close to the beach and restaurants, little supermarket etc.. Bunty and his lovely wife made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We also ate there one evening and it’s was delicious! It was an absolute pleasure to stay there .. Highly recommend!

Extremely welcoming and helpful family. Lovely property with nice new fresh rooms. I was stuck with nowhere to stay due to a misunderstanding. They took me in late at night, I had no bags with me, they gave me PJ's which was honestly such a lovely lovely thing to do. The breakfast the next-day was gorgeous. Dhal, sambol, potato curry, hoppers, the lot!! 2 types of desert. Genuinely lovely people. AND THEIR DOG!!! omg, the cutest fluff Ball I've ever seen.
