Amazing little gem of a place. We had 2 rooms and they were very comfortable. The people were incredibly kind. They did everything they could to make our stay the best. You only had to ask and they would help. They know all about the local attractions so don’t hesitate to ask. Breakfast and dinner was just perfect for us. Super tasty local food. Really enjoyed staying here and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere quiet but convenient.

The host of this accommodation is an absolute gem. He was so helpful when giving guidance about the different activities and prices around Dambulla and Sigiriya. The room was spotless and amazing value for money. The host made a very tasty breakfast for us in the morning and chatted with us for a while.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, very comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and incredibly generous — the perfect start to the day. The family is truly lovely, so kind, helpful, and attentive, which made me feel right at home. The house is set in a peaceful and relaxing environment, yet still close to many beautiful places to visit. And one of the highlights: watching monkeys from the balcony — such a magical experience! 🐒✨

A kind and hospitable family that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. They could organise everything for you if you so wish. The home was kept spotless clean. The breakfast was delicious and in abundance. Dambulla itself is really nice. It provides a glimpse of real Sri Lanka and we appreciated the conversations we had with the hosts. The cave temple is near by and main tourist attractions such as Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa are a must. We saw lots of elephants at the safari, up close, and enjoyed the wonderful views of Pidurangula rock. Thank you!

We have only good memories from our stay at Roy's place. The room is modern, clean and had very good big bed. Big bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, cattle, fan, so in the room was very comfortable. The breakfast is serving at a terrace and it was very delicious - Srilankian, but not very spicy (as we asked) and I strongly recommend home made dinner from this family - I'm already miss it :) Right in front of home there is a fantastic rock, where you can observe the city and see sunset. Roy were also very nice and helping, and took us to the bus station.

We loved our stay at the Green Village. The family were welcoming, helpful and kind. The location was great and we visited the cave temple and sigiriya whilst there. The breakfast was lovely. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. They also helped us organise our trip to Kandy after our stay.
