A great find on our trip. Extremely kind and friendly hosts. Food was delicious..we had an evening meal..was lovely. Breakfast was amazing. A great family run business. And you are within easy reach of all the lovely sacred sites of Anuradhapura. Any questions were answered.100 percent recommend. A great young waiter too who shared his home grown bannanas. Good luck in life young man. You will go far. ❤️❤️

Golden Ray Villa is the perfect place to stay. Sanjeewa is the nicest person we have met in Sri Lanka, his food it's the most delicious we had, and each and every breakfast is diffetent and prepared with love. His attention to detail is amazing. The room was beautiful, super clean, and the beds are very confortable. The AC is very helpfull as it gets very hot in Anuradhapura in the hotter months. Inside there is this little garden, were you can relax, and a parking place inside (for us was very good since we had our own tuk tuk).

Water Front Homestay is like home away from home. The space is pleasant, beautiful and serene. The rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable with A/C and hot Water. The location is very good as it offers calm and proximity to the center. But, best of all are the people! Wasantha, his wife and their daughter welcomed us very well and treated our three-year-old daughter with unsurpassed care and attention. Wasantha picked us up in Colombo and took us to Anuradhapura, transported us to Sigiriya and made a more personalized and interesting route. He was tireless, always available, attentive, full of good information and with an irreproachable professionalism. Organized an unforgettable tour of Anuradhapura and Mihintale with an excellent guide, Lalith, an authentic walking library. The wife prepared delicious and typical dinner and breakfast for us. We now know Sri Lankan people and culture and history much better thanks to this wonderful host and his family. Thank you Wasantha for the way you took care of us and especially our daughter!

We were so happy to have stayed here! The lovely family welcomes you with open arms. They arrange sightseeing tours, which was perfect because we only stayed one night. They served the best rice and curry we had in three weeks. We are really bummed to leave in only one day, otherwise we would’ve definately joined the cooking class. The rooms are spacious and clean. It’s a place you must visit!

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable and even brought mosquito coils when we were having dinner. The dinner was delicious and served on the terrace outside our room. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants a very comfortable home stay.

Ceylonima Home stay is a must! Mapa and Kanchi are the best hosts ever. Mapa is super helpful when planning trips or taxis (their brother is a great driver!). Kanchi has spoiled us with the best food in Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were beautiful too! We highly recommend the homestay.

I had the most wonderful time at the Ceylonima Home Stay. It was my first accommodation in Sri Lanka and as a female solo traveler I felt very welcome and safe. I had dinner at the homestay the first evening which tasted great! The next day, Mapa gave me and my friends a tour through Mihintale. We really enjoyed learning about the Buddhist culture! Mapa and his wife make sure you have everything you need and the car ride to the train station is just perfect! Thank you for introducing me to your country😊

Great hosts, very helpful and caring. We had the best food and a great tour to Mihintale for sunset! There are some bicycles for rent at the homestay so you can visit the old city easily. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay.
