The owner of the guest house is an absolute legend. The house is amazing and very cosy and clean. The accomodation has a very authentic Japanese atmosphere. The owner speaks little English but nonetheless tried very hard to communicate with us even though we spoke little Japanese. We still had a great conversation with a lot of laughs. The beds were very comfy, the room was nice and the service was amazing.

The owner is the most helpful guest house owner I've ever encountered. She went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be. The location is beautiful, I would 100% stay here again.

We loved this accommodation - this was my second time staying. The view from the cafe/bedrooms is pretty incredible and worth the trek up the stairs to come and stay. We had a private room which was great for the two of us - the room was clean & the bedding really comfortable. The hosts are extremely helpful

If you decide to stay in Mukaishima for relaxation or even the shimanami kaido this is the place to be. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and really goes the extra mile to ensure that the guests are satisfied. It feels like being part of a family. The room is also very spacious with all necessary amenities, all be it with a homely feeling. The outdoor area also has many features including a playground picknick tables and much more. My expectations were certainly surpassed!
