We had an amazing time in Montalbera; we spent 5 nights there and it’s the perfect location to visit Monferrato. Montalbera has a magnificent view of Montemagno and the surrounding hills and vineyards, which are stunning (you can also walk through the estate thanks to 4 different routes)! We definitely recommend a visit to their wine cellar and a wine tasting. We found that the experts working there were very prepared and knowledgeable (and just really nice and friendly in general), and their wines are produced with care, attention to the territory and innovation (the Ruchè Riserva was our clear favorite). If you stay, we also recommend a bike tour (you can rent e-bikes in Montalbera), which is the best way to see and enjoy the Monferrato’s hills which are stunning and all a bit diverse! Last, but not least, the staff at the check-in will provide your with a useful list of restaurants. Ciao and grazie Montalbera, we hope we’ll come back soon!

Fantastic accommodation. Calm and soothing. Large rooms that are almost like apartments. Very abundant and tasty breakfast. Nadia is a very nice host. We chose to eat dinner, which was wonderfully good and reasonably priced. We highly recommend a stay.
