A very nice place to be, and what a wonderful host. After being stuck for two days due to road closure, Maggý was very helpful to deal with the situation, doing her best for our confort. The guest house is well located and what a lovely little town.

Great shower and a comfy bed. I messaged the friendly host requesting an extra pillow and had it about 1 minute later! Altogether it was a great stay and I would definitely return anytime I am in Seydisfjordur.

A very affordable, well located guesthouse. Although the rooms are simply furnished, all main needed are provided. Hot water is great, heating is good and beds are comfortable. There is a shared kitchen which is ideal for do it yourself breakfast. Also, they have an EV charging unit right out near the front door and you can get a good overnight charge for your car.

This Seydisfjordur Guesthouse is situated in the eastern fjords of Iceland, 25 minutes’ drive from Egilsstadir Airport. It offers free WiFi and a garden.

The guesthouse was well-equipped. It had a coffee machine, all the kitchen ware, dishwasher, washing machine, games and very big common area which was very convenient. The owner was very helpful, too. The room and linen were really spotless clean. 10/10 recommended.

The house is right outside the town of Egilsstadir, very easy to find. We were met by a very friendly owner and his two lovely dogs. He was extremely helpful and the house was truly a gem! Decorated with old-style furniture, but very cosy, clean and it has a hot tub outside with an amazing view! We wish we could have stayed longer and can definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to spend time at East Iceland!
