The property It was clean, warm, and in a quiet neighborhood, you could hear the river nearby from the room. The staff was very polite and their hospitality was in a high level. We arrived at the property before the check in time and they let us to check in and go inside the room.

The setting by the river is simply breathtaking; peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The house itself is beautifully kept, with every little detail thoughtfully considered to make the stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. It felt like a home away from home, only better! A special mention has to go to the lovely dogs. They completely stole our hearts! They were so friendly and affectionate, making the whole experience even more memorable. Coming back from a day out and being greeted by wagging tails was an absolute highlight. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with stunning views, cosy comforts, and the sweetest four-legged companions, Shannon River House is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was so charming its hard to describe. It was our first night in Ireland and Adare Country House was like staying with family, It was so quaint and friendly, welcoming, warm, so traditional too. The owners Dennis and Elaine (I think) were the cutest Irish couple you could hope to imagine, we even took photos with them. The breakfast was hand cooked and huge variety. I didn't want to leave. Beds in room so comfortable, everything clean and fresh with old school charm. This is a fabulous stop on the way between Dublin and the Ring of Kerry. Lots of parking and a block from the local Adare main road and the restaurants and pubs. A cute historical village, we LOVED it xo
