The homestay definitely exceeded our expectations. Beautiful clean accommodation among the rice fields. We recommend it if you want to support the locals and like authentic experiences. The staff was extremely nice, friendly and respectful. The owners are nice local people and they were very welcoming and accomodating. Couldn't find a money changer nearby and they took us to one in the rain and they were very sweet about it. Don't get me started on the view, it was breathtaking and waking up to it everyday + the sounds of nature was such a peaceful experience. The area is clearly a wild area and they did a super great job at maintaining it and turning the bungalow and its surroundings livable. The place smelled nice and was free of insects (we could hear a gecko at night but it was outside so we weren't worried). The lady brought us food right to our room, and we would just order via WhatsApp. If you're thinking of a nice getaway where you'll feel nothing but peace and harmony and pure joy, go for it and please stay for at least 2 to 3 nights (you can visit nearby waterfalls and plantations and rice fields).

Avocado Homestay is a little gem. It’s still pretty new. The outside area is really nice. Beds are comfy. It has huge potential to be a very special place! Amazing Homestay!! The family is so welcoming and the freshly prepared food they served us every day was delicious! Lalu was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, securely parking out scooter and arranging a local guide to take us on a spectacular tour of Tetubatu! The best thing about this homestay was the incredible view and all the tours I did with the host Ramli. I had 4 nights here and there was plenty to see. The local craft makers, village, waterfalls and rice field walk, and climbing Pergasingan Hill. Such authentic experiences, especially meeting people where it felt like visiting friends for cups of tea and delicious snacks. The food at the homestay was delicious and plentiful, and the room spotless. Highly recommend!

I can only recommend this homestay! It has very basic facilities but is surrounded by beautiful rice fields. Izy, the host, and his whole family are really nice. He welcomed me with delicious food, was able to help with every question and offers interesting tours around Tetebatu. In the evening you can sit down with him and the family if you like and try some delicious ricewine. It also makes sense to eat there, because it tastes marvellous.

This accommodation is just awesome. It is very cozy and has everything you need. You have an awesome view on the mountain. Fendy is there for you 24/7 and will help you with whatever you neee. He cooks great local dishes with ingredients from the garden. 😋Also, he can take you to some nice places around and show you how the locals really live. I had the best time at Coconut Homestay and will definitely come back 👍🙌

Fantastic value for money. Picturesque and serene location. Clean and very comfortable homestay. The locals are so friendly. Adi was the perfect host, looked after us very well, and cooks delicious food. His nephew, Eddie, is a knowledgeable guide and owns the Tereng wilis bungalows up the road that has great food at his warung. There are a lot of mosques in the area, and the muezzins start early, but we got used to them very quickly.
