We absolutely loved our stay here! The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful, with relaxing nature and a lovely riverside view. The host family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and treating us like part of their own family. We had booked for 2 nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay by another day. Highly, highly recommend this place — we would definitely love to visit again!

The accommodation is tastefully decorated and well finished. All the furnishings and fittings are high quality. There was attention to detail in its construction. The apartment is cosy and feels like you could be anywhere in the world. The grounds are well kept, and the location is peaceful. The staff were helpful and professional.

This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had—not just in a homestay but in any hotel we’ve stayed at. You’ll be welcomed by an amazing family who make you feel like you’re truly part of their own. Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to join them on unique excursions like visiting cultural villages, learning to make coconut oil from scratch with the whole family, or exploring the rice fields with their cousin. The stay also includes a delicious homemade breakfast and lunch, and if you’d like dinner, you can enjoy it at their cozy little restaurant on-site. We had an unforgettable time and already can’t wait to come back. This family has made us feel like one of their own, and we’re so grateful for their warmth and generosity. Amazing location, with stunning views of rice fields and hills, very tranquil, beautiful river and a small waterfall short walk from the hut. Tasty, generous breakfast. The cabin is really nice, was very clean, good WiFi too, super comfy bed and clean comfortable bedding. Lots of storage space. Friendly, helpful staff.

Avocado Homestay is a little gem. It’s still pretty new. The outside area is really nice. Beds are comfy. It has huge potential to be a very special place! Went for a sunset walk with the staff around the village and fields. +the avocados taste yummy. For dinner we went to his uncles place. So support this new homestay and create something beautiful

Located 150 meters off the road surrounded with beautiful rice fields and view of mount Rijiani, Jonny’s house is the perfect place for backpackers and solo travelers who want to really get to know Tetebatu and the amazing people who live here. Amazing Experience! Stayed here as a solo traveller. On arrival, immediately warmly welcomed by the family and invited for a cup of coffee. 1 of the employees took me for a walk through the rice fields and waterfall. I even got to help collect the rice! On my return, I did a cooking workshop where we made delicious authentic Indonesian dishes. In the morning, you have an insane view from your bungalow of Mount Rinjani and get a delicious breakfast. Insanely nice family, super clean and tidy facilities and a top location. Highly recommended!

Sukry and Amin are amazing hosts! Cute bamboo hut, more than enough space, clean and with an amazing view over the ricefields! The coffee, tea and breakfast is amazing too, even as their dinner menu! Sukry and Amin really want to make your stay as good as it can be. They are really friendly and willing to show you all of Tetebatu and it’s beautiful surroundings. Simply the best!! I really enjoyed my stay here :)
