We had a fantastic 7-night stay at Pondok Kakiang. The accommodation is new, very well maintained, and exceptionally clean. You can really feel the love and care that has gone into every detail – the garden, for example, is beautifully designed and adds so much charm. It’s just a 6-minute scooter ride to the surf beach, which makes it a perfect location for surfers as well. One of the absolute highlights was the host Kadek, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. He even organized a scooter for us – and the next morning it was already waiting at our door! Breakfast was freshly prepared every day, super tasty, and completely flexible in terms of time – we could simply let them know when we wanted it. The attached restaurant was also a great surprise: delicious food (including plenty of vegetarian options) at fair prices, and a warm, attentive team that made us feel truly welcome. They even showed us how to make there Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng. If we ever come back to Bali, we’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

It was right on the beach so the view from anywhere was spectacular. The staff are so friendly and speak excellent English . The pool was large and super clean . The massage was one of the best I’d had in Bali !!

Beautiful location in the rice fields and away from the main road but with great local cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Very comfortable room and the wifi was fantastic so great for remote workers. The owner was also very kind and relaxed and is a fantastic surf coach and helped me improve immensely! I will be going back 😊🌊
