We absolutely loved the location, only a few steps from the James Herriot display, the reason we visited Thirsk. The hotel is a part of the history and the decor is very suites. The breakfast was superbly cooked by the owner,Geof who was so friendly, welcoming and full of great stories about the area

We appreciated all the attention to even the finest of details from the bathroom items, to the decoration, tea/coffee service etc. We thought it was charming to have paper doilies under our cups and appreciated proper cloth napkins. The personnel were fabulous. The food was excellent. The Staff and everything really was very professional. Highly recommended. Merci beaucoup Jacqueline and Marc.

Warm welcome from Andrea. The chalets are small, but fitted out to a very high standard and have everything you need. Quiet location, but convenient for getting to Thirsk, Helmsley etc. Extremely comfortable bed! I was really impressed by all of it and would definitely recommend.

Lovely and clean. Breakfast was just the ticket. Bed was very comfy. Chris and Jenny are very welcoming and made our stay so enjoyable. Will definitely come back for another stay. Plumpton Court is ideally situated to give you access to the lovely countryside around the Yorkshire Moors.
