Good information prior to visit. On arrival, we were given a warm welcome from the owner. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with everything required for our stay.. Had a great nights sleep, the bed was lovely and comfy. Good parking facilities. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again!

The welcome and attention to detail offered by Piper and Terrance is exceptional. The Devonian is possibly the best value for money accommodation we have stayed at and is highly recommended. Of particular note were the breakfast, Terrance's advice about local highlights and Pipers magical drawing-room.

The host is a very nice man, he opened the kitchen especially for us in the evening and prepared wonderful meals. The cleanliness and facilities were top notch. I highly recommend the Lion House. We regret that our stay was so short, it was wonderful. I wish we'll be back some day :)

This guesthouse was a great choice for walking the Coast Path. The value for money was much better than typical, the owner was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, bed was comfy; what's not to like? Don't hesitate to book if it's available.

Super comfortable and our whole stay had a lot of character with some great conversations with the host - it really added to our trip! We had been hiking the coastal path for four nights so this offered a very well appreciated break!!
