We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our two hosts, who were fantastic, nice, and helpful people. Staying in a guest house allows you to experience the warmth of the Scots. They were extremely friendly and gave us recommendations for places to visit and eat. Breakfast was excellent, and vegan options were available. We strongly recommended it! We really loved John's place. He was so kind and friendly and everything was so clean and the room spacious and well-organized. Also the breakfast was really tasty and had several options. Good position for the city centre, just 10 min walking.

The b&b was fantastic! It was not just a room; it was almost a whole apartment with everything we needed (including a separate dressing room, kitchen appliances, a bathroom with rain shower, usb plugs)! The location is great; the view from there is nice and peaceful, and the garden is just beautiful! The warm welcome from the very nice hosts and the decoration details (books, funny wall decor, Scottish decor, a box on the bed with anything we could need for a shower and a good sleep) made us feel at home in Scotland! A small fridge with orange juice and milk was offered, as well as a big variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies/sweets.. just for us! The breakfast was brought to us in the apartment in the morning in a cute box, and it included all possible things one can find in a continental buffet (toast bread, butter croissants, chocolate croissants, fruit salad, butter, honey, jams, cheese, ham..)! We thank you so much for this experience! We will come back every time we visit Scotland :)
