Homestays in Nacula Island

We loved our stay in Nabukeru homestay! It was a really unique experience to take part in the life of a Fijian village. All the people in Nabukeru village and especially our host Misi warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home during our entire stay. Every meal was prepared by a different family and brought to our bure so we got to chat with different people from the village each day. The meals were super delicious and mainly consisted of freshly caught seafood as well as different fruits and plants that are grown in the village, cooked with coconut milk (e. g. breadfruit, cassava, bananas, mangos). And of course we loved our beachfront bure with paradisiacal beaches surrounding us! We also got to visit the school in the village, play with the children, see the caves nearby and try kava. If you go to Fiji we highly recommend visiting Nabukeru village!

The host Vilise was making you feel at home. He makes the best icecream from fresh fruit! Delicious 100%. He is also an excellent cook. Walking to the other side of the island over different paths, gave an exploring feel! I’m delightful I have experienced his place.

Its a basic accomodoatian but run by people with big hart and smiles. I loved my stay here its feeling of staying with Fijian family also bunch of kids from the village were around which gave a special note of real life. The food was nice and the beach infron is super nice to swim. Also i did trio to the cave with them and loved every second of it.

Life in the village. The place is stunning, people are incredibly nice and welcoming. If you are looking to experience something different, this is the place.

Very warm welcome, made us feel right at home. Food was amazing, tasty and plentiful. Enjoyed sharing table with fellow travelers. Snorkeling was awesome, best at high tide, but walk around rocks to go at lower tide. Sunrise and island view from lookout were a great way to start day. Nice trip to blue lagoon for picnic lunch and swim. Would stay again
