The location of Hyrdeskolen is absolutely beautiful, with woods and vast green fields around. It's peacefully and quiet. One of the room's windows is facing South where beautiful sunsets can be seen but it's better to go outside. There is a space to sit outside with your morning coffee or at any time of the day. The room is simple but it's clean with two comfortable armchairs, there is a fridge, kettle and a Tchibo coffee machine, which I much appreciated. It's a lovely touch to facilitate a good coffee machine with a nice coffee in the room, so you can have a morning brew before you go on with your day. The owners are kind, thoughtful and friendly people. We could also see dogs in training, which was very interesting. When we are back in Denmark, we will be looking to stay in Hyrdeskolen again. P.S. The only thing that I was missing was some kind of clothes storage, for example, a simple rail with few hangers in the room/ wall hooks to hang some clothing from the briefcase. We stayed at Trandafir Guesthouse for three nights while visiting LEGOLAND Billund with our children, and it was a lovely experience. I had originally booked a family room with a shared kitchen, but on arrival we were kindly offered an upgrade (due to last minute cancellation) to the whole house for an extra fee - such a pleasant surprise! The apartment was clean, warm and quiet, with everything we needed for travelling with kids: a kitchen, washing machine and plenty of space to relax after long days in the park. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the location (about 20 km from LEGOLAND) was perfect for day trips. It’s not a luxury stay, it’s simple and homely, but that’s exactly what made it perfect for us. Highly recommend to families who prefer calm surroundings and a bit of independence while travelling.

Great hosts. Had care of us and picked us up by car a couple of times. Very nice apartment. All facilities. Bus stop in front of the house, every hour a bus to Billund (Legoland and Airport, 15min) and to Vejle (25min).
