The manager Mercedes was very helpful and genuinely seemed to care about her guests (she stood out in the rain waiting for us to arrive on the first night). Her activity recommendations were great and she helped us navigate the tides and told us how to go see a baby turtles release. She helped organize a surf lesson, which we enjoyed. The welcome booklet was helpful. The casita was comfy and cute and the pool was inviting. The water was hot, plentiful, and safe to drink. The restaurant next door was delicious! It was a 5 min drive to town and close to the main road, so it was easy to get to. We didn't notice too much road noise. They allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after we checked out. If we come back to Montezuma, we'll stay here again.

Amazing place to stay with wonderful hosts - Susana and Romano were so kind and fun, they really looked after us. We definitely want to return one day. 10/10

Great position very close to the sea, you can hear the waves and lots of birds and even monkeys at sunrise and sunset. Very good food at the restaurant. The shower had hot water.

Casa Frangipani is a wonderful place. The villas and pool area are beautiful - the view is out of this world. It's so special to watch birds and monkeys in the trees. The hosts are extremely warm and helpful.

La Casa de Cachi provides rooms in Paquera. With free private parking, the property is 7.4 km from Tortuga Island and 32 km from Montezuma Waterfal. The guest house features family rooms.

Great value: we've been touring Costa Rica on a budget for 3 weeks now, and this was hands-down our best accommodation (good air con, great airy kitchen, nice private bathroom, comfy bed, all super-clean), and also the cheapest. Lovely host: Marionella made us so very welcome, and she even helped us to wash and dry our clothes ! A beautiful, warm lady. Convenient location: good supermarkets (and restaurants) just 400m away. We actually delayed our planned early departure, drinking lots of Marionella's coffee, because we didn't want to leave.

I was very tired when I arrived and since the hostel wasn't very busy they upgraded my room for my best comfort. I didn't even ask them, but they were so kind to offer me a bigger, quieter room at no extra costs. The next day my onward travel turned out to be more complicated than expected using public transport, but the owner was so nice to take me to a better bus stop in another town. Very helpful indeed.
