There is also a free BBQ area with gas and a communal coin-operated laundry. We wanted somewhere that was away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, and that was on the way south. This place was perfect. Kingston is a sleepy little place, which was exactly what we were after. Unfortunately we arrived a bit late due to some trouble in Queenstown, so it was a relief to come here. The room was clean, and our late arrival was seemless.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve, this holiday park features a coin-operated laundry and gas BBQs. Families can relax with 2 TV rooms, a children’s playground and a petanque court. This is a lovely top 10, and a great example of the brand. Staff are friendly and helpful.The facilities are modern, clean and useful, comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen for those cooking for themselves The location is fantastic, walking distance to the spa and eateries and not long drive to the adrenaline fueled activities on the river

Each room had great natural lighting and beautiful views. Most importantly, they were very spacious. The kitchen was also well-equipped, making it ideal for cooking. Additionally, there was a laundry room for washing clothes and ample space for drying them. We truly appreciated the front desk staff lending us clothespins—their kindness left a lasting impression on us and was one of the main reasons this place stood out.
