Located on the Oamaru Bay beachfront, all accommodation offers a patio with sea views at Oamaru Bay Tourist Park. Guests enjoy free WiFi in public areas. The location was fantastic - like a large beach chalet opposite the sea. Even though the road was in front of the chalet, it was generally pretty quiet and peaceful. The chalets have been recently refurbished and are spotlessly clean, well equipped and spacious. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The location up on Coromandel Peninsula is simply beautiful. We walked across the road to the rocky beach for sunset each evening, where you could hear a pin drop, very peaceful! This is a lodge that caters to campers as well as folks renting kitchenette rooms, like us. People come here for the fishing, and I heard it was very good. If we had stayed another day, it would have been fun to go out on a charter boat for a day of fishing. We went on excursions each day, one was to hike the Coromandel Coastal Walkway, just fantastic. There is no shortage of fun things to see and do here. You do have to bring groceries with you, as there is no restaurant nearby.

Located on the water's edge, Long Bay Motor Camp is situated 2km from Coromandel Town, 41 km from Whitianga. Thames is 54 km away. Free private parking is available on site. Loved the cabin we stayed in - very affordable for the price and a beautiful night we chose to visit! Our cabin was spacious, comfortable, had a beautiful view! Absolutely no complaints.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). The view was out of this world, the comfort was amazing too.

Tasman Holiday Parks – Beachaven is a friendly holiday park set on four acres right by Waihi Beach. Explore the 9km long stretch of white sands, stunning views, great surf and fishing. Lovely, clean and spacious place super close to the beach. Super comfortable bed! Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. The person at the reception was super friendly and helpful.
