Oamaru Bay Beachfront Tourist Park is a 10-minute drive from Coromandel and a 45-minute drive from Whitianga. The location was fantastic - like a large beach chalet opposite the sea. Even though the road was in front of the chalet, it was generally pretty quiet and peaceful. The chalets have been recently refurbished and are spotlessly clean, well equipped and spacious. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

All accommodation includes a kitchenette, air conditioning and a TV with DVD player. We loved the design of the accommodation, the friendliness of the staff, and the ease of checkin as well as the products provided! Great on-site café!

Not all accommodation has a lounge area, sofa, TV. We loved the location; how we could walk right out the front of our bach and step onto a sandy pathway to a gorgeous beach. Perfect for evening walks and early morning sunrise viewing. Comfy beds and everything we needed as far as appliances, shovels for the hot water beach, enough towels for shower and beach.
