Oamaru Bay Beachfront Tourist Park is a 10-minute drive from Coromandel and a 45-minute drive from Whitianga. Baz and Col are friendly and very respectful hosts! The house was clean and well maintained, no marks or dust or mouldy carpets, no musty smells! Simple and perfect! Had everything we needed to have a couple of days by the beach. There were kitchen and dining area in our house with all the kitchenette! And the views!!!

Set on 5 acres of native gardens, this holiday resort offers direct access to Waihi Beach. It features a heated pool with a hot tub, a sauna and a fitness centre. All accommodation features a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Whole family enjoyed it kids were super excited and alot of laughter shared

All units feature bed linen. The location up on Coromandel Peninsula is simply beautiful. We walked across the road to the rocky beach for sunset each evening, where you could hear a pin drop, very peaceful! This is a lodge that caters to campers as well as folks renting kitchenette rooms, like us. People come here for the fishing, and I heard it was very good. If we had stayed another day, it would have been fun to go out on a charter boat for a day of fishing. We went on excursions each day, one was to hike the Coromandel Coastal Walkway, just fantastic. There is no shortage of fun things to see and do here. You do have to bring groceries with you, as there is no restaurant nearby.

Our cabin was spacious, comfortable, had a beautiful view! Absolutely no complaints.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way).

Not all accommodation has a lounge area, sofa, TV. The view was out of this world, the comfort was amazing too.

Lovely, clean and spacious place super close to the beach. Super comfortable bed! Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. The person at the reception was super friendly and helpful.
