Offering an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the Aeolian Islands Sea, Camping & Village Rais Gerbi is located on the seafront, a 5-minute walk from the town of Finale. It was an amazing experience. Very beautiful place with view, pool and nature. There is a good pizza dinner place on location. We enjoyed our time here.

Directly across the street from the beach and lido and a quick drive to Pozzallo and Ispica along with other places to visit nearby. Ambrogio was an excellent host, friendly and responsive! Set on its own private beach, Villaggio Turistico Europeo is 10 km from Catania. It offers a Sicilian restaurant, an outdoor pool and classically furnished bungalows. The resort was amenable and secure, well appointed and well designed. It was very good value and very clean and tidy. A lovely little resort. Lovely people and really very wholesome, good quality, wonderful food appropriate to the climate and location. Accommodation was provided in comfortable chalets and well appointed bungalows, all with private facilities, Air-conditioning and fridges of a good standard. WiFi capable and dependable electrics in the rooms fitted with decent TVs. The plumbing worked well; faultless showers and reliable ablutions. Beaches are patrolled by “Bay-Watch” lifeguards. It is noteworthy that all of the guests seemed to be having a very, very good time with few complaints all universally enjoying themselves enormously.

La Plaja offers a disco, and air-conditioned bungalows with free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV. Its private beach features ethnic-style decor and a rustic bar with woven palm leaves. We read the reviews and found the negative comments to be way off the mark. The parking is not "sketchy". It's behind a closed gate. The area is not "shady", it was very comfortable. The noise from the airport...well, if you need to be close to the airport, you're gonna hear planes!!! Duh! Yes it is directly under the flight path. Yes it is noisy. So bring a sound machine or put on an app on your phone to drown it out. It is also steps from the sandy beach. We almost booked a different hotel because of these comments and I'm so glad that we didn't and stayed here instead. That being said, The staff was super friendly and helpful. There were two gentleman at the entrance that helped us find the right place to check in and park. They had a great sense of humor that made our day. The hotel staff was so very nice and accommodating. Spoke great English. He was from Sri Lanka and his name was Guna,Guva...Can't remember, but he was excellent and so friendly and helpful. He made a comment that after our stay we will have wished we stayed there for our vacation. He wasn't far off! The area was perfect! 7 Minutes to the Airport, which is why we needed to stay there. Our travel company had our stay in Taormina, but our flight out of Catania was at 6 am. We would have had to leave Taormina by 2:00-2:30 am to get to Catania to catch our flight. Not nice at all! So we decided to book this room.
