VERY friendly staff who can provide you with all the information you want. We loved our sundeck for early morning sun. It is a perfect place from where you can hike parts of Queen Charlotte, explore the wineries, go to Havelock for mussels or hop on the Pelorus mailboat from there. Otherwise take the Picton mail boat! The cottage has everything you want, we loved our stay.

The room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I only spent the night there while waiting for my ferry to Wellington, but I had a very good rest.

Charming surroundings, with nice welcome in a form of muffin for you and snacks for farm animals. Simple yet clean cottages, shared bathroom and kitchen. Good for glowworms spotting by waterfall nearby in the evening (marked track). Beautiful sky full of stars on a clear night.
