They were incredibly helpful as we had to check in late, and check out very early the following day. It was a smooth process from start to finish, with clear communication along the way. They provided us with breakfast packs in our room as we were missing the breakfast time the following morning due to our early check out. Exceptional care and service!

Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The room was spacious, well equipped and elegant. During the load shedding the WiFi and lights still worked. There was also a heating option. The breakfast was overwhelming. We could choose between freshly baked, warm scones and croissants for starters. There were also fresh fruits, granola and yogurt. Last but not least we could choose between all types of eggs with bacon/mushrooms/tomatoes/avocado etc. The hosts were very friendly and gave us helpful recommendations for wine tastings. The location was very quiet and safe.

The location was perfect with a view from our balcony to the bay. The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!
