It is no frills but offers a decent bed, private bathroon, good wifi, and even the ability to do laundry (they provide detergent but I think you have to hang dry, which I did not have time for but I think it pretty typical for Taiwan) Taichung Central Park is nearby and EXCELLENT if you are a runner.

Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful, the facility and service provided were beyond expectation, it was even better than hotel, we are 2 couples booked into 2 rooms, all of us are very happy with the property.
