At the guest house, each unit has a wardrobe. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and slippers, the units at the guest house have a TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms are equipped with a seating area. At the guest house, every unit includes bed linen and towels. Dar Koraich staff were so responsive and communicated well with us prior to our arrival. The reception was great even though we arrived later than we thought we would. The rooms were amazing and we felt like we were in a bubble of peace inside the bustling Medina. A Special shoutout to the gentleman at the reception for his attention to detail.

But the host, Mohamed, is the real gem! He enjoys having people around and makes you feel at home. He prepares breakfast in the morning, makes sure his guests are happy and always has a smile on his face. I felt at home and so welcomed!!! Thank you for everything Mohamed, hopefully I will come back to kairouan one day.

There is plenty of room. Basically it’s a traditional apartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen; the bathroom is inside the kitchen enclosed with a tiny wall. There is also a nice and quiet terrace. The apartment is a ten minute walk from the Medina and you can find some restaurants just outside, round the corner.

The location was very good (5 minutes from the Great Mosque). A quiet and authentic place (a house that combines tradition with modernity). The breakfast was excellent. The indoor pool is also a plus. The accommodation also has indoor parking. It also has a roof terrace and a hammam, but we didn't have time to use it. The hosts were very welcoming and we thank them very much for everything!
