The shower was perfect. We want to mention how grateful we are for the flexibility of our host, with a special request of ours... It really helped us out when we needed it. Would recommend this place to stay at. Kitchen well equipped, coffee machine was nice, fridge was nice and big.

Set in Machico, S A L - Beach Apartments Caniçal is a recently renovated accommodation, 22 km from Santana's Traditional Houses and 30 km from Marina do Funchal. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 500 metres from Beach Pedradeira. The guest house features family rooms. Great place with all necessary staff for travellers. A lot of cafes and restaurants just in a few minutes walks. Pedro is a super friendly and active host, who gave a plenty of local recommendations and directions. Coffee machine with the capsules did my mornings happy)

Girao Cape is 12 km away and Santana's Traditional Houses is 43 km from the guest house. Wonderful house. The house is on the smaller side, but you can find everything you need. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed, airconditioning etc. Also there are two terraces that are enable you to relax and bask in the Madeiran sunshine. The accomodation is very clean and is well stocked with shampoo, shower gel, coffee, tea and fruit. There’s no inside kitchen, but outside there is a barbecue and a dishwashing station. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We were also surprised by Nelson as he gifted us fresh fruit like bananas and Madeiran custard apples. The house is situated in a nice, hilly neighborhood of Funchal. It’s about a 2km ride from the nearest main road exit or reachable by bus. It’s about a 10 minute drive into the city center and also about a 10 minute drive to be in the middle of the nature. Highly recommend to stay here whilst being on Madeira.

The apartment is gorgeous and spotless clean. The host is very available, responsive, friendly and welcoming. Check in is completely seamless. The property has a beautiful, sizable garden with a great view of the town and ocean. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay in this property because of all the attention to detail that the host put towards the furnishing and decoration of the apartment, which is a rarity. Some places are furnished expensively but in an impersonal and cold style, but this one is truly someone's home, with great character, that the host is sharing with you.

Very clean room as well as shared areas, such as kitchen & bathroom. The view from my room towards the sea was breathtaking. Furthermore, I was grateful having had the opportunity to use the washing machine. Ludgero has a very welcoming personality. I certainly would stay again here.

The guest house provides mountain views, a terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. We liked this place very much. It is absolutely quiet. No barking dogs, and no road traffic! (This is VERY rare on Madeira, especially in Funchal!!). Nice view of the mountains and the ocean. There is a large kitchen, which is very well equipped. Our host is extremely helpful and friendly. Even though we did not speak Portuguese, we managed to communicate with google translate easily. We warmly recommend this place to people who like QUIET places and like to sleep at night and discover the beautiful northern part of Madeira. Bolo do Caco Grill is close by (by car) and highly recommended to eat there and enjoy the stunning view!
