We were nervous about driving to the accomodation as we didn’t have a 4*4. We arranged for a transfer from Al Hamara which is 1 hour away for 50 OMR return. This was well worth it. The driver was on time and drove safely. He also pointed out some sights and stopped off at a gorgeous coffee shop en route :)

The Misfah Heritage house is beautiful. The location, the food and our host Hamed were all excellent. The host sat with us after dinner to talk about the history of the village.
