The view of the surrounding hills and villages was spectacular. The homestay staff was very attentive and provided authentic tasty food. The guy from the UK took us to look around the villages and introduced the meaningful innovative program to install water tank and pipeline for the village inhabitants. The unique experience brough us a closer look to the life of the local Tamang people.

Super friendly staff, clean rooms and great breakfast. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing! We’ve stayed three times and it’s been great every time. The location was great! 10 minute walk to Swayambhunath. It was quiet at night. The host was a wonderful gentleman. I had spent 3 months in Nepal and my last two nights were at this spot. Offering a restaurant, Mayur Restaurant that serves Indian and regional cuisines, Peacock Guest House is located 100 metres from the City Centre. Everything was great, especially the helpful staffs. The building itself is amazing and well-maintained. It’s so lucky to stay in a such magical place.
