A lot of cute kids were always playing around, so the place was really lively. The food was excellent and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean! The village of Namobuddha is very authentic and the scenery stunning. If you're lucky enough, you will also have the opportunity to meet Ian who lives there and runs a charity association to provide water pipelines for remote villages. Trust me, go there ...that's the kind of place you will never forget.

It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏

Offering a restaurant, Mayur Restaurant that serves Indian and regional cuisines, Peacock Guest House is located 100 metres from the City Centre. It is completely charming and elegant. We felt comfortable and well looked after. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is quiet. The food was really good. The tours arranged with Bikram Suwal were wonderful - and when he wasn’t free, Raj was also brilliant. We will come back.

The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.

What you see is what you get and that is great! Simple straightforward rooms in a nice and quite street close to all the beautifull squares. The manager is a wonderfully kind man who speaks perfect English, we stayed two nights more because we liked it so much. Good hot shower and everything is very clean.
