Super clean, lovely receptionist, she's so welcoming and helpful. Very quiet, had a great sleep. Free coffee/tea is a huge plus for me, great place to meet other like-minded travellers as Taiping is quite off the beaten track. Right in the town centre, 15 minutes walk to the train station and 10 to the lake. Would definitely recommend it

We have chosen Nipah Guest House each time we have visited Pangkor over the past 15 years, and we will continue to do so. The family who manages the place are very nice people as well as helpful to the guests. Everything is clean and well ordered. Though not right by the beach, it is in a quiet location and just a short 5 minute walk to the beach. There is also a newly built forest swimming pond a ten minute walk in the other direction. We highly recommend Nipah Guest House!

Easily one of the best homestays/B&B/hostels I've ever staying regardless of country. Well appointed, very clean, spacious, easily accessible, and overall comfortable. Fairly standard Malaysia terrace house, but with three rooms plus another upstairs in the loft. Master and loft come with ensuites, so 3 bathrooms in all! All nicely renovated, new, modern and clean. Towels provided in the bedrooms, with A/C and fans and beds and pillows were comfortable enough. Kitchen is fully decked out with marble table, microwave, cooktop, and even H/C water dispenser. Plenty of parking space and key was easily accessed through a lock box. And not to mention, the owner must be a keen gardener as there were lovely, beautiful pot plants to greet you at the front. Can't fault it at all.
