The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. Location is amazing. Close to everything. Easy to get bus anywhere, including the airport. But Uber is pretty cheap. I arrived in the middle of the night. It wasn't an issue. The host sent me check in details in advance and I got to my bed fine. Rooms are very comfortable, with locker space under the beds and padlocks available upon request. Laundry was done quickly and easily for a reasonable price. I didn't use the kitchen except to cut up some fruit I got from the market. The fridge has lots of space. Having drinking water to refill your bottle is great and saves so much plastic. The host is very kind and professional.

Both AC and fans are available in the rooms but the constant sea breeze ensures a pleasant temperature and especially at night.

A bicycle rental service is available at the guest house. This was the most amazing place. The hosts were just lovely. I fell sick after one day and they were looking after me like I was family. I felt so at home and so comfortable and seen. I have never experienced anything like this. If you’re looking for connection and people that have recommendations for basically every place in Mexico, this is what you’re looking for. The rooms are spacious, as are the beds, with private bathrooms. Everything is simple, but very clean and comfortable. Everything in the city is within walking distance and some great taco places are just around the corner.

I came to Oro Verde for just one night initially, thinking there would not be so much to do in a small town like Homún... and I could not have been more wrong. I ended up staying 3 nights and I would have stayed many more if I could. The atmosphere was really nice, the place is clean and spacious and the Internet works perfectly, even when the hostel is full, as they have Starlink. It is also the perfect place to disconnect from work, routines and busy city life and take it a bit slower in calm environment and connect with nature The host are two amazing human beings that love what they do and work very hard so everyone can enjoy their vacation at its fullest. Dulce cooks amazing homemade, fresh and healthy food, which is way better than any of the other restaurants in town and for a very reasonable price. Aleph on the other side will take you with the mototaxi to the best cenotes around Homún and not just the most touristy ones in which you will have the whole place almost by yourself, as we did on many occasions. They also provide snorkel masks and lanterns for a better experience. Additionally, they got brand new mountain bikes for the guests to use and move around freely and have many more amazing ideas to make the place even better!!
