We spent two nights with Biljana and her family, and we were welcomed as if we were part of their own family. On the first evening, they greeted us with a local drink and thoughtful little touches, and we immediately felt at home while chatting together. Every morning, Biljana prepared breakfast for us, and we were truly impressed by her culinary skills. The accommodation itself is simple, but the bed is very comfortable. We also loved that the location allowed us to go for a short run each morning to reach some lovely little lakes where we could swim. Of course, having a car is essential since the house is in the countryside, but by car you are only about 10 minutes from the town of Žabljak, with plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. If you have a car, the location is perfect for accessing Durmitor. Out of town, but yet close enough to do your shopping. And with a lovely garden to relax after a day of hiking or driving. The room is not big, but the beds are comfortable, there's closet space to keep your belongings and hooks behind the door to hang stuff. The bathroom is clean and the shower is good. There is an outdoor kitchen that can be used. I have dietary restrictions, so we cooked our meals. However, Rada managed to prepare a lovely dinner considering those restrictions for our last night there. We enjoyed our interactions with Rada and Branka (her daughter) made possible by Branka's good English, a bit of google translate and lots of smiles. They are both very attentive to their guests having a good time. On arrival, we were treated to homemade cake and coffee. The coffee was strong and my husband said the cake was great (he ate both his and my piece!). And on top of all that, excellent value for money.
