The Backwaters property is located very near to Wilpattu National Park. It is a beautifully designed highly Eco friendly establishment. The owner to the other supports staff are all VERY friendly and they catered to our every need. The sunset River Safari arranged by the property was amazing. Our guide, Mubarak, had the most amazing eye to spot beautiful birds along the way. The food offered at the restaurant was healthy and tasty. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

The family was very friendly. The welcome juice was delicious! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable with a good mosquito net. The location was super calm and you can enjoy the sunset over the rice fields. It was very easy to arrange the half day safari with the hosts.

He welcomed us despite we arrived earlier than check-in time, pick-up and drop off were wondefully planned, same for the organitazion of the safari, and breakfasts and dinners were everyday different and were delicous!
