The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. The property is surrounded by greenery, making it very peaceful and beautiful. The location was also very convenient.

Parasol Dore is a gorgeous gem of a villa, situated on a small and quiet beach near Dickwella. We loved the location, very quiet but within walking or short tuk-tuk distance to Dickwella and Hiriketiya when we felt like “opting in” to those other places. Most of all we loved the staff - everyone - made us feel at home in ways we could never have expected! We are so grateful we could stay here.
