We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.

The owners and staff are super friendly and accomodating. Can arrange a reasonably priced taxi wherever you might need to go. Any other questions and concerns are eagerly answered and helped with pronto. Very laid-back atmosphere overall. Right outside of the hotel on the main road there are two fruit stands, a masage salon and a couple of good mom&pop grocery stores. Easy access (3-5 min) to the ocean and Coconut Tree Hill. Mirissa Beach is a 13 minute walk. Evening/night time the area is pretty quiet as all nightlife happens ~2 km down the main road. Definitely worth the money!
