A great place to stay for my last night in Sri Lanka. A colonial-style guesthouse with a beautiful setting on the lake with vintage furniture and other touches. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Hot shower and good breakfast. The staff are very warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Allowed a later checkout and arranged a tuk tuk to visit Athugala Rock before my departure. Would definitely stay there again.

I recently stayed at this lodge and had a truly wonderful experience. They offered both Sri Lankan and English food, and I must say, the taste and quality were absolutely excellent. Every meal felt carefully prepared and full of flavor. The hospitality was warm and genuine. @Mangala was very friendly, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel was safe and peaceful, which made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone who enjoys a calm and quiet environment, with great service and delicious food in Kurunegala area. Would definitely come back! We stopped here for one night and were pleasantly surprised by the overall value. The location is excellent, close to what we needed while still being quiet enough to relax. The room was quite large, very clean and well maintained, which made our short stay comfortable. Nothing was fancy, but everything was exactly as expected and good for the price. Great value for money, and we’d stay here again.
