Fantastic location in the Knuckles. We stayed here for 2 nights. The house is very special with many cosy seating areas and of course the stunning views outside from the rocking chairs on the terrace. The work they do for the community and their mission and vision is admirable. Nanda is a very nice host to talk to and helps you with everything like providing rain gear and leech socks for our hike .He taught us the Sri Lankan game Carrom and even played this with our kids. The food is fantastic, so many different dishes to taste from, and we loved the afternoon tea with home made cakes. Thanks a lot Nanda and team!

Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely outstanding! Here the time stopped 100y ago! They keep as much as possible originally, yes for sure not new and some comfort is missing, but I prefer it like this! Outstanding! It is set away from the busy main road and very peaceful. There is a restaurant, which we did not use, so I can't comment, but there was no noise, apart from some soft music,which was quite nice and chilled. The room was very clean, with clean bedding and towels. Staff were very helpful and Friendly. Loved this Lodge. I could have stayed longer just to enjoy the peacefulness. As we are travelling by bicycle, our bikes were very secure for the night.

This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. A real highlight of our trip. Beautiful property in a stunning location, great rooms and beds, exceptional service and great meals.
