Lakmal, Morin and the hole family are so great, lovely people. The accommodation is nice, close to the beach and to restaurants. We felt like home and also our kids felt very welcome. We can highly recommend staying with this family.

The hosts are really nice and super helpful. It was my first accommodation in Sri Lanka, and it was the best start I could get: The host picked me up from the airport, helped me to get cash and a SIM card and explained a lot about the country and Beruwala with a lot of tips of what to do. The room was nice and clean and the house is right at the beach, with a big balcony facing the sea. I got amazing Sri Lankan breakfast every morning on the balcony and the hosts checked in with me regularly to make sure I have a smooth stay and to recommend things to do and places to visit. I can highly recommend the stay and would book again if I return to Beruwala.

what a complete service this hotel had with this staff is amazing. whatever we needed, they arranged everything and with a smile. I needed, for example, help with a birthday party for my wife and they arranged everything and the result was amazing. Erin Villa has been by far the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. Not just the facilities were awesome, huge and comfy bed, amazing separated shower, gorgeous pool and convenient location but Asanka’s hospitality is next level. Details like checking arrival time to make sure room was cool down, coconuts were ready made our stay. And the breakfast is endless, full of fresh fruits and local pastries plus omellette, etc etc etc. This creates memories one will never forget.

Our stay at The Beach Gate Villa was truly unforgettable. Sarath is the kindest host we met on our journey, and he made us feel like part of his own family. The breakfasts were simply the best of our entire trip, and the rooms were the cleanest and most well-equipped we had in Sri Lanka. We especially appreciated the large, comfortable beds, as not all double beds on the island are spacious enough for two. The villa itself has a beautiful terrace and garden, where we enjoyed watching birds and squirrels, and the peaceful location is just a few minutes’ walk from a quiet, empty beach. There are also plenty of activities nearby, such as a river safari in Bentota, an Indian restaurant, and a Buddhist shrine. We loved it so much that we extended our stay to four nights and were genuinely sad to leave.
