He really looked after us and always gave ussome useful tips regarding transport. His breakfast was legendary with a wild array of choices. Overall highly recommend this place as it was cosy clean and close to the beach.

I had a beautiful room with an outdoor shower which I loved. The garden is a real oasis with interesting wildlife to spot and it was really relaxing to spend some time by the pool before walking down to the beach. The garden here is really special and the architecture of the building is beautiful. The staff were super attentive.

Even though the room didn’t have A/C the fan kept it cool enough to sleep. They also have meals available, we had dinner for only $4 USD per person. Wifi worked great most of the time.

Set in Hikkaduwa, 100 metres from Narigama beach and 17 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, Alvas house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. This little guesthouse is one of the warmest and friendliest places i have been. Rooms are spotless, wifi is excellent and location is good. But its the owners that really make you want to return. Thanks for making me feel welcome and at home and taking care of me when needed.
