We are really well at Suriya Guest :) we had the breakfast and dinner twice which was delicious. The host was super welcoming and kind. The rooms were spacious and had heating, which was important because we were there when it was only 17 degrees Celcius.

The host was very nice, always available, and truly accommodating. He didn’t hesitate to help us find a restaurant or a means of transportation. The place was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Always smiling and welcoming, he made our stay even better. I highly recommend it!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this guest house in Nuwara Eliya! Everything was perfect: the place was spotlessly clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it truly felt like home. The breakfast was delicious and hearty, the ideal start to the day. What made our stay even more memorable was Rajith, the wonderful owner. He went above and beyond to take care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed — from providing water and laundry service to recommending great restaurants and organizing our tea trail excursion. He even helped with transport to the town center and arranged last-minute emergency rides, including a 5 AM trip to the train station! Thank you, Rajith, for making our time in Nuwara Eliya so special!

The attentive service and all-round comfort that the Edgware offers were a great way to cap off my wonderful time in Sri Lanka. All the staff, including Lukshan and Ishan were very welcoming, and did their best to make me feel at home throughout my stay. It was nice to have some good conversations with them. I had the opportunity to get an upgrade to a beautifully appointed and spacious room equipped with a high-roofed loft space, which gave off ski chalet vibes. While it was cold and damp for much of my time in Nuwara Eliya, inside it always felt warm and cosy, with nice touches like a virtual fireplace and a heater in my room. They also serve delicious food, including a superb Sri Lankan breakfast and a wide variety of dishes to choose from on their dinner menu, and offered complimentary tea/coffee and cake upon my arrival and when i got back after a morning out. Also they packed a nice breakfast for me for me to collect early in the morning when i headed out to Horton Plains.

We have just stayed at Water Side Residence for one night to climb the Adam‘s Peak. The location is only a 5 mins walk away from the entrance of Adam’s peak trail. Rooms are clean and providing everything you need. Ruwan and his wife are the most welcoming hosts always making sure you are comfortable and providing very delicious and home cooked food in their cafeteria. We can especially recommend the coconut roti which was the best of our trip so far. Ruwan also took care of the pick-up from Hatton station same as the transport to Nuwara Eliya and both drives were including stops for nice photo shoots. We can definitely recommend staying here! :)
