The hotel itself is very beautiful with so many lounge rooms, even with a yoga room. The guy that works at the reception, whose name is Jerad, is incredible. He did his best to make our stay so good. He treated us as if we were his beloved relatives. It was unbelievable. So sweet, and so pleasant. Jerad, thanks a million, because of you we had the best experience in Nuwara Elliya. The service is 5-star. Indeed. Our room was spacious, clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was cosy and beautiful too. I highly recommend Suriya Guest.

The guest house features family rooms. I can really recommend this place! I stayed in a super nice and extremely clean room with a balcony and beautiful view of the hills. Big bathroom with hot water shower. The staff was very helpful and helped me arrange a tuktuk to go to Adams Peak at night. I have nothing to complain about!

Rajith was an amazing host from the moment we arrived, welcoming us into his home and sharing his knowledge of the area. His hospitality was above and beyond, and breakfast delicious. He organized tuk tuk as needed and suggested local activities to meet our needs. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this homestay to anyone.

At the guest house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The attentive service and all-round comfort that the Edgware offers were a great way to cap off my wonderful time in Sri Lanka. All the staff, including Lukshan and Ishan were very welcoming, and did their best to make me feel at home throughout my stay. It was nice to have some good conversations with them. I had the opportunity to get an upgrade to a beautifully appointed and spacious room equipped with a high-roofed loft space, which gave off ski chalet vibes. While it was cold and damp for much of my time in Nuwara Eliya, inside it always felt warm and cosy, with nice touches like a virtual fireplace and a heater in my room. They also serve delicious food, including a superb Sri Lankan breakfast and a wide variety of dishes to choose from on their dinner menu, and offered complimentary tea/coffee and cake upon my arrival and when i got back after a morning out. Also they packed a nice breakfast for me for me to collect early in the morning when i headed out to Horton Plains.

We stayed in the most crowded time in the year for the Adan’s Peak pilgrimage and and couldn’t hear a single noise from the cabin terrace, only the water flowing. The staff is warm and very friendly. Hatton Railway Station is 31 km from the guest house. Castlereigh Reservoir Seaplane Base Airport is 30 km away. The hospitality and kindness of the family was really touching. The house is very clean and brand new , you get a large room and large bathroom and there is a living room with sofa and dining table. The place was just 5 minutes walk to the adams peak trail head. Near the house there are a few fancy and local restaurants with mostly foreign tourist. I had , dinner ,breakfast and lunch with the family and the food was so delicious and in a large portion. Also the bus from maskeliya stops very close to the house frequently throughout the day.There is also a bus to colombo at 5.30 am from there which the family even walked me to and i am so grateful to them. This is the perfect and calm place to spend a few days while you are climbing the adams peak
