They made us dinner even though we arrived late, they even got up at 5am to make us breakfast to bring with us on our safari. Location was great as we’re close to the safari. The room was comfortable and everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Amazing food and with a tuk tuk on site it was so convenient to get a ride to the bus and our own tour!

The photos truly don’t do justice to the beauty and comfort of the room – it far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The owner and the entire team were incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my trip was unforgettable. They organized an amazing safari for me, making the experience completely hassle-free. The location is perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that feels like a true escape into nature. The Sri Lankan food served here was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This is an ideal place for anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park. Highly recommended for the location, hospitality, and overall experience!

Accessible via private entrance, all units have air conditioning, soundproofing, desk and a private bathroom with a shower. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. At the guest house, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Excellent location, few steps from the gate of the National Park! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable too and mosquito net provided. Air con was a welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom was also spacious and clean, hot water was great. The owner was the sweetest man, his nephew messaged to ask if I wanted dinner, I declined, but the owner knocked on my door to give me fruit and ice cream so I wouldn’t go hungry at night. So sweet! His nephew also provided me with a welcome drink and even took me on the safari. Highly recommend doing the safari with them, they were the most affordable and they really considered what animals I wanted to see and tried their best to find them. The breakfast, lunch and snacks were so good! I was very well fed! They were very accommodating to me and really put in effort to help me when my card had issues. I will definitely stay with them again.

Our stay at Swan Lake Habarana was fantastic. Kalhara was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond—organizing a cultural evening, a great safari trip, and arranging tuk-tuks at fair prices. He helped with everything before, during, and after our stay. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The breakfast was also very good! Highly recommended!

The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

Easily one of the nicest accommodations we have visited in Sri Lanka. The family running it is extremely friendly and supportive! They arranged for us a guide, kept our TukTuk secured and clean, and went the extra mile to support us during the power outage. Also, definitely join them for some dinner, it’s by far some of the best food we’ve had so far!

Very good guest house, the owner is very friendly, and serves an exceptional breakfast. He helped us in the plan. The room was big and clean. Sigiriya's rock drop in his tuk tuk was great.

Full English/Irish and Asian breakfast options with local specialities, fruits and juice are available. At the guest house, the traditional restaurant is open for dinner and specialises in American cuisine. We were completely satisfied with everything. We loved the environment with all the greenery and flowers. Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. :) On request, we were provided with dinner, and if we mentioned what we wanted to eat, that was also arranged (we absolutely love jackfruit curry ;) ). The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible. This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.
