The guesthouse is vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable, making it perfect for those who are not just consumers but also care deeply about the environment, animals, sustainability, and local communities. The concept behind this guesthouse is both smart and meaningful. I truly enjoyed it and dined at their ground-floor restaurant for nearly all my meals; everything was incredibly delicious! They set up an account for meals, scooter rentals, and laundry, allowing you to pay by card (or cash) before checking out, which was extremely convenient. Located in a quiet, local area away from the bustling tourist and party zones, the guesthouse also features a fantastic rooftop viewpoint where you can order drinks and food from the kitchen below. It’s a great place to relax or practice yoga. My room boasted a spacious balcony, a writing desk, ample space for hanging and storing clothes, a fan, and air conditioning. Plus, the bathroom had refillable bottles of local organic shampoo and soap. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I also strongly suggest visiting Nibi Spa, which was mentioned on the guesthouse notice board. It features a sauna with a stunning view of the river. Additionally, swimming in the river was an absolute delight!

You can play billiards at the guest house. It's perfect. Nice tidy rooms, quiet location and great staff. Loved the place and the breakfast.

A stunning place if you are staying in Kampot! - Great value for money (probably the best room I've stayed in during my trip in Cambodia). - The staff always welcome you with a big smile. - Spacious room, with private bathroom, a fridge, a kettle, a small balcony and great air-con. And the room was very clean! - The location is very quiet so you'll have an amazing sleep. Having said that, it's only a 10-15min walk to the Durian roundabout / centre of town. It's even closer to a lovely pond and the southern part of the riverside, which had an amazing night market when I went there. - I liked it so much (as well as the Kampot area) that I extended my stay.

They were very helpful in organising a tuk tuk driver for us to do a day tour. Lovely breakfast every morning and lunch/dinner available at an extra cost which was delicious. Great location just over the bridge from the centre, about a 10/15 minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here :-)

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in African cuisine. The family that owns it are warm and welcoming, and well organized. Very easy to communicate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Three meals a day are possible here, so being a little away from the city center is no problem. It is an easy tuk-tuk or motorbike ride into town, and Hidden Oasis has a motorbike available for rent.

The food here is incredible. Best fish amok we have had in Cambodia. Really great kayaks can use for free really nice to kayak around sunset. Free fruit and water refills and the staff are so kind and warm and welcoming they do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible, provide all information about kampot and things to do and rent scooters for you to explore. Really wonderful place.

Dickens , the owner, was most helpful and polite. I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay at Ta Eng Guesthouse and wish I had stayed there before. The location is in a quiet part of town and around a ten minute walk to the Durian roundabout. I would like to thank him for all the drinks he gave me as part of the Chinese New Year festivities !
