We only spent one night but found this to be the best value option in Kofu. Self check in was a multi step process as some of the reviews say buy it's ok if you follow the instructions in the right order. Have fun with it!

It's a beautiful property with a great host. Yumiko was very welcoming and kind, gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is also in walking distance from some very nice sights. We can highly recommend to stay here. A bonus was that we woke up with views of Mt Fuji on our last day. Thank you Yumiko for an unforgettable experience!

Guest House 然は山中湖村の海に面した宿泊施設で、富士急ハイランドまで18km、河口湖まで21kmです。1つ星のゲストハウスで、エアコン付きのお部屋（共用バスルーム、無料WiFi付）を提供しています。敷地内に専用駐車場があります。 Guest House 然のお部屋にはそれぞれベッドリネンとタオルが備わります。 この宿泊施設から富士山まで33km、箱根湯本駅まで46kmです。 This place is umbelievably beautiful, breathtaking and pure magic, is a guesthouse with only 3 rooms, but 2 of them have an amazing view of mt fuji and the lake, it was and incredible stay, there are plenty activities to do on the lake and although there are very few options for eating nearby and also you have to see what are their schedules, you might probably have to survive with seven eleven food which is a 10 min walk, but you have a big kitchen in here so I don't see any problem with that, it's also very very empty everything in the town at least in low season but that wasn't a problem for us, also you can take a bus and go to chureito pagoda and fuji q highland and some other amazing views of mt fuji, if you want to see mt fuji I believe this is the best place to do that. The owner is really nice and helpful, before check out we talk with him and make a cultural exchange for more than an hour, he might be the best english speaking japanese person in the country.

Really amazing location for exploring Fujikawaguchiko and quick access to Chureito Pagoda which I couldn't match anywhere else. The staff were really nice and welcoming. They operate a cafe under the room where we grabbed a nice coffee from. The room was traditional Japanese style which for us is always more interesting. Nice and cozy!

Everything about this stay was amazing! The owner is very friendly and helpful, the room is spacious and awesome with good facilities like a heater which we definitely needed! Such a beautiful area which is very local, but still pretty easy to get around from here! Renting bikes was the highlight for us as we saw all of lake kawaguchiko so so easily and had an awesome day, when we got back we were treated by the large onsen style bath to enjoy and warm up! We had large suitcase and the owner happily took us to the station when we checked out which is so kind. Amazing place to stay!!
