The people running this place are so nice and polite, it was so lovely to talk to them ☺️ The hostel is very clean and cozy and has all the facilities needed, including a spacious dining room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a washing room. It's perfect for women, they have a lot of self-care products which you can freely use there, hair dryers, towels, hangers, free WiFi, tea and coffee... basically, everything you need when traveling. It's also very close to a metro station and a convenient store. Definitely recommend staying there ❤️

Tondabayashi has so many beautiful and traditional houses and is surrounded by many unknown towns and villages that are definitely worth a visit. Osaka is also only an hour away. The owner is so kind and nice! She always helped me plan my next trips and even gave me a tour through the down. Her attention to detail and personal touch definitely made my first solo trip the best it could have been! The traditional house also had really clean and modern facilities. If you want to explore Japan off the beaten track, this is the perfect accommodation for you!

I was alone in a full room, and felt like my own bedroom. Bathroom and toilet where decent, but nothing fancy. As it is shared with only 3 people they do not get crowdy at all.

Our host,Akihiro kindly picked us up from the airport on our day of arrival.This was a great start to what was a very enjoyable stay here. The property is located in a quiet residential area, the subway is not far away and there is a 7-11 and a ramen restaurant close by. There is plenty of room here and we didn’t feel cramped at any stage. We enjoyed a trip to the local onsen and also had supper with our host Akihiro during our stay. It was a pleasant experience to stay here and Akihiro speaks fluent English and is easy to communicate with. It was so much better than staying at a hotel . I would stay here again if I return to Osaka.
