I felt at home almost right away. The place is in the historic village where not many people remained to live, so it is quiet. The nature around is beautiful and the shrines you find in the village are so peaceful. It was perfect getaway during the golden week. I felt like a part of the family, not even with hosts but many times also with the guests. The internet works pretty great and if not, there is a great signal reception.

Stayed at the Uno Port Inn to take day trips to Naoshima. What a wonderful place!!! The staff is a delight - very kind and helpful, our room was very basic, but immaculate. The bedding was great! Our washroom was also very clean. Great coffee (love Max's lattes!!!) and breakfast. I'd stay there again for sure!!!!
