Guesthouse Kinari was exceptional and we are so thankful we had the opportunity to stay at this lovely space. It also serves as a center for the community children and also persons with disabilities to gather, and spaces like this are so important for the community as everyone is able to use the space. The room we stayed in was also really comfortable and spacious, with great beds and a big toilet that comes with a bathtub! The entire facility is yours and in the morning, people from the community also gather in the facility and we even got to enjoy the loveliest breakfast of onigiri and miso soup together. The owner also provided a personal guide of places to see in the neighbourhood that was really insightful. I cannot stress how grateful we are to have been able to stay here and we are so thankful to the people who continue to work so hard at Guesthouse Kinari so that everyone can feel right at home at this space. Great experience staying in a quiet and friendly community. It was everything we hoped for and more. We got up at six to ring the bell, and it was really special. After that, Asami's husband told us that we were welcome to join the local residents in their morning exercise, and we did. It was such a nice surprise! We enjoyed the great sense of community here. Later during the temple experience, we learned a lot about the local temple culture. I would highly recommend their guesthouse to anyone interested in having an in-depth understanding of local Japanese communities.

The location was quiet, in the middle of a residential area so it was very quiet at all times, there was a convenience store about 10mins walk away. The guesthouse was very spacious with a living room, dining room and sitting room on the main floor. There were 2 bathrooms and 2 showers and all very clean!

He picked us up from the station and gave us a tour of the city, as well as bringing us to a supermarket to get some food for dinner and breakfast the next day. He was incredibly sweet and helpful. The house was beautiful and the city was quiet. We could relax completely. We have nothing else to say but thanks, and we will come back!
