Everything, wonderful team, the owners truly treated us as 'guests'. The perfect way to arrive as first timers in Kyoto. Slept very well, super breakfast. Despite other guests in a compact space, the Guesthouse ambience made us all very respectful and accommodating. Great location a little away from the tourist scene but has it's own local charm and easy walking reach from temples and sightseeing. Coffee in the lounge in front of the bog tree just what we needed in the morning.

Amazing stray. Super clean, nice location, staff is super kind and the place itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast was super good (both the western and japanese one) and each food was prepared with so much care and attention to detail.

The hotel is located to the south of the Kyoto Imperial Palace and is very close to the subway station. The rooms are spacious and feature a classic Japanese-style bathroom. everything! the guy at the reception is the kindest! the guesthouse is clean and cozy! I totally recommend it! I had a private room with futon and the bathroom was shared, but bathrooms are so clean that it wasn’t a problem at all! Also there’s everything you need, towels, soap, shampoo etc. there are also some snacks in the common room:) last thing, position is great as well!

This was a really sweet property, it felt special to be able to stay in a more “authentic” property and the location was also great for what we wanted to do in Kyoto. It was clean and well appointed, we really enjoyed our stay!
