She is very welcoming and always ready to help you if you have any questions or problems. We felt like home from the beginning. The place itself has everything that you need, is very comfortable and located in a beautiful area next to a beautiful temple and a nice area to stroll around. On top you get to experience sleeping on a futon which is way more comfortable than we expected! We recommend this place to anyone that wants to visit Kyoto and would definitely come again! The place was very conveniently located, within walking distance to Nishiki market and Metro stop. It was a large comfortable space for a family of four to stretch out and have as our home base to travel and explore Kyoto, so much better option than small hotel room. The host was so kind, and used google translate to help explain everything in the house. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very spacious. We ate out, so did not use the kitchen, but everything was available to cook yourself.

It was such a special experience, it felt authentic and personal. We loved the incredible breakfasts, and the notes with tea and snacks when we returned at the end of the day. It was so warm and cosy, and so lovely to be able to look at a pretty garden in the middle of a busy city. The location was great too - there is so much within walking distance.

It’s 2 minutes walking from a big supermarket. Mrs Haruka is adorable, helped us with everything, we felt like if we were visiting our family, she took her time to explain to us where were the best tourist attractions and how to use the train and underground, her house is just 3 minutes walking from it.
