The host was very friendly and helpful and we were also offered to use his bicycles! We loved staying in our room. It was spaceous, super clean and cosy.

The host couple are extremely kind and friendly and put us at ease immediately. The accommodation has everything you would need and so much more! The place is beautiful and cosy and it looks even better in person than on the photos. Not to mention the location in Gion but in a quiet street, which allows you to stroll in some of the most beautiful areas of Kyoto in the evening when it is super quiet.

Location is in a residential area, making it a quiet respite after a whole day of sightseeing, while still being conveniently close to the center. Breakfast was also tasty and kindly brought into the room daily. Emiko-san and her family were very welcoming and accommodating. She even gave me a ride to Kyoto Station on my last day and always checked on me daily to see how I was. Very kind family. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!
